Muscular Dystrophy

 hi everyone i just join this site and i was wondering if anyone here has MELAS disease , because my daughter cheyenne has it too , and just wanted to meet others with it and chat. my daughter already has 2 third og her brain gone and the doctors only give her 2 months to live.  cheyenne is only 21 months old, she is all I have in life I  need her. I love her with all of my heart, and soul, she is my world. I don't know what to do without her. I'm would just loss it.  help if you can!  thanks cindy

I am so sorry about your daughter. I can't imagine how hard this must be for you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Cindy......welcome to disaboom and I'm so very sorry about your daughters prognosis. I'm sure you know that each individual case is different..........the naysayers aren't always correct............you'll have your daughter for as long as you're supposed to have her........and that could be for a longer time than you're being told............I can't even imagine how hard this is for you........please know that you'll have my prayers and quite a few more from us here........we're here for you if you need us.Keep the faith Cindy.................Peace and love........Norma
