Gretjen: And I can't go straight to the Last Post of a thread?!
And I can't go straight to the Last Post of a thread?!
Hi Gretjen,
This feature is the same as it's always been. You will not see a "LAST" link until there are over 5 pages of posts. I think this thread has 4 pages right now, so you would click on the number 4 to go to the end of the thread. If you go to one of the longer threads, you should see the "Last" link.
Please let me know if this feature is working for you. Thx!

Lily, it's not like I am blind. But in the other version I could click on "Last Post" in the topics list, and it took me straight to the last page.
Here I didn't even notice there were so many replies already, because I thought I was on the last page.

This was definitely also one of my main complaints.

Gretjen:There was nothing cranky about the uproar. Things had gone down the drain back then, with tiny script and all.Anyhoo, whenever it comes to asking around what precious community wants by way of change, or how we like the changes made, there is always a consensus that the pages shouldn't be too crammed, and many feel disturbed by moving, blinking ads. To me it doesn't seem at all like disaboom is trying to make things user friendly for precious community.

You're definition of cranky and mine must be very different....This comment coupled with the statement that "you're not blind" (which I'll refrain from going into why there are a number of other word choices for what I hope you meant)....
just comes off as unnecessarily irritable. That's my personal perspective but I don't think it's the best way to get your point across.

Gretjen: Lily, it's not like I am blind.
I understand you're not blind...but other members of Disaboom are. I'm fairly certain you weren't clarifying your disability in the statement but instead using it as a statement that the advice Lily tried to offer to you wasn't helpful because you could see.
My observation that you were and in my opinion are responding with a generally disagreeable attitude was simply that-my observation. Maybe you want to take it into account-maybe you don't.
It's true that the squeaky wheel often gets the oil so I'm really happy that the ones of us that are posting are stating what we like and what we don't like....but unreasonable, vague, and insulting replies aren't really helpful to anyone.
